2022 abortion performed on a 10-year-old in Ohio

Delete as inaccurate and implausible. The abortion was performed in Indiana, not Ohio. -- Tavix (talk) 18:11, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Complete ring

This is probably more generally explained at Topological_ring#Completion, to which I was going to redirect a new complete topological ring page. Note that there is also a Complete local ring redirect, though the article on topological rings does not currently mention local rings. 1234qwer1234qwer4 14:30, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:→

Ambiguous with Help:Edit summaries § Section editing. In fact, since "→" is not on most keyboards, copying it from an edit summary should be one of the most likely ways it is being searched. Also, WP:← redirects to H:AES which causes the two redirects to be inconsistent with each other. I suggest we dabify. Nickps (talk) 14:29, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Igari

Also Tomoka Igari. 1234qwer1234qwer4 13:17, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Road test

The use of "road test" to mean "driving test" must be dialectal. It is unknown to us Brits, to which the term means something completely different. To quote Wiktionary, "A trial or practice run of a piece of equipment in its intended usage environment to check for errors before final deployment." Currently, the target doesn't even mention this sense, except for the specific literal application of it to testing of vehicles. I can see three potential options:

  • Turn this into a new article about this sense
  • Find an existing article about this sense, and redirect to it
  • Find an existing article about this sense, and turn this into a disambiguation page

Ottoman Bessarabia

Inaccurate redirect. The Ottoman Empire annexed both Budjak (south of Bessarabia) and northern parts centered around Khotyn [1] [2]. No appropriate alternative target, lack of incoming links show the redirect is not useful. Super Ψ Dro 12:49, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Province of Bessarabia

Nonsense redirects. Bessarabia is a region in Eastern Europe. Budjak is a subset of it. Super Ψ Dro 12:44, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moldavia Province, Ottoman Empire

The Principality of Moldavia was never a "province" of the Ottoman Empire. It was never a part of the empire. It always remained a separate country with its own laws and administration under vassalage. These redirects are inaccurate and misleading. Also the "Bogdan/Bogdania/Boğdan" redirects are made up original research. Super Ψ Dro 12:27, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Moldavia Province and Boğdan Province Referred to as such in several books (on "Moldavia," see [5], [6], [7], etc.) (on "Boğdan," see [8] and [9]). Cannot find references for the others, so delete. - Presidentman talk · contribs (Talkback) 17:22, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

2004 Moldovian Census

"Moldovian" is not a thing. The redirect got one view in the last 365 days [10]. It's useless. Super Ψ Dro 11:10, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Second American Civil War

It has been cited for deletion 3 times. It got deleted 3 times. Why is this still being remade? Heyallkatehere (talk) 08:12, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

From what I know, the previous deletions have been of full articles. I'd keep it as a short-hand/alternative-term redirect and leave it at that. Other than that, I'd agree it's still too sensitive for a full article. Deepred6502 (talk) 10:53, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Keeping this as a protected redirect actually discourages making a full article as well. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:15, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Also protect it so that people stop creating it. Super Ψ Dro 11:11, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Adding a golden lock restricting this to admin only edits seems like a good solution. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:12, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keep. Keep criterion 5 applies, in spite of attempts to reduce the number of links to this title contravening NOTBROKEN, R with possibilities, etc. Furthermore, the nomination is extremely misleading, if not outright incorrect. AfDs are held to a higher standard than RfDs, and the fact the previous three didcussions were AfDs is conveniently elided. Lastly, it is clear that this is, at best, a drive by nomination. One of the previous discussions cited is an April Fool's joke. The nominator either didn't bother to take five seconds to click through the evidence they are citing, or knew this and intentionally left it out of their proposal. --James (talk/contribs) 15:21, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wolf (Shrek)

aside from death, this could also refer to the big bad wolf or even bloodwolf from one of the spinoff shows Okmrman (talk) 03:39, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per nom. Heyallkatehere (talk) 08:14, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Captain Prince

Could also refer to Robert Prince (captain) Okmrman (talk) 03:35, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Calatonia

Don't think the city is even notable enough to even deserve a redirect. Okmrman (talk) 03:29, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. This also seems to be a psychotherapy method which may or may not be notable. --Lenticel (talk) 04:13, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Eh, a major movie's fictional location is generally prominent enough to deserve a redirect by volume of searchers. But ambiguity (not only with the psychotherapy method, which possibly deserves some en.wp content by my reckoning, but also with Catalonia) complicates matters. Amc interview with the vampire

Redirects are not the same thing as search engines, this version seems unlikely to be directly linked. Mason (talk) 03:14, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of Pokemon items

No such list appears in the target. Nickps (talk) 02:52, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Silph Scope

Same idea as Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 March 29#Silphscope. Not mentioned in target. Nickps (talk) 02:42, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. It is a key plot item in the games but is otherwise non-notable outside of the verse. --Lenticel (talk) 04:11, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Need Not Apply

These are loosely-related redirects that seem unlikely to help navigation. If kept, a much better redirect target needs to be selected, because as the redirect creator @Brudelman: has pointed out: this term is a "euphemistic phrase of discriminatory practices in labor hiring", but it redirects to the much broader category of racial discrimination. Mason (talk) 02:53, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Garv Sangwan

Not mentioned at target. jlwoodwa (talk) 02:26, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
