I will have to ask the admins now, as part of WP:BOOMERANG, to take a read of this unbothered-with SPI case and investigate the links between the users with a beef against KA$HMIR here and the IP hoppers who were harassing KA$HMIR and Owais with false allegations of sockpuppetry. You also show considerable interest in this SPI for somebody who's made barely 200 edits (most of them in the same topic area as the filer and the one being investigated) in a span of years.--NadirAli نادر علی (talk) 05:10, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

– An SPI clerk has declined a request for CheckUser, and the case is now awaiting a behavioural investigation.

Suspected sockpuppets

DarSahab claims on his userpage that he "may sometimes share an IP address with KA$HMIR per WP:FAMILY". But, just a simple glance at their contributions, especially edits like:[1][2][3][4] will convince you that a single person is operating both the accounts. And, even if DarSahab is taken at his word, the fact that he is editing disruptively in the same topic area, making similar POV-pushing edits to the same set of articles,[5] engaging in deception by restoring edits of KA$HMIR with misleading edit-summaries and then edit-warring over it (see diffs below), not to mention that he shares the same feuds with Kautilya3 as KA$HMIR, are grounds enough to block both the accounts. WP:FAMILY clearly says to treat such accounts as a single user.

It's important to note that KA$HMIR's former account is Fahaddar65 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki), according to [6][7]

It's also worth mentioning that KA$HMIR was blocked on 4 January 2018 for a week, and he was using the DarSahab account to evade the block on KA$HMIR.

I'll now present the evidence that will leave no doubt whatsoever that a single person is behind both the accounts:

 • Both made similar POV-pushing edits on Dhar (surname)[8]; showing same obsession to remove the phrase "mostly in India"[9] (IP-revdeled)[10]
DarSahab: removed mostly in India because Dar users are a majority in Pakistan..[11]
Fahaddar65: On the other hand many Dhar's are also found in Pakistan known as Dar[12], see also[13]
 • Both made very similar edits on Kashmiris[14]; replacing "Dhar" with "Dhar/Dar"[15], claiming that "Bhatt" is spelled as "Butt"[16][17], "Lone" is not spelled as "Lun"[18][19]
 • DarSahab: .. and some also use the prefix 'Sheikh'
 • KA$HMIR: .. and is also used as a prefix by some kashmiris.
 • Note the blatant similarity in language:
 • KA$HMIR: "Two IPs,[85][86] located in two different [87][88] Indian cities, turn up to frame me and @Owais Khursheed: for meatpuppetry. Both IPs were had knowledge of a user known as @Kautilya3:, which indicates they were old users IP socking to frame me and Owais. The different locations of the IPs suggest collaboration between multiple old users is happening on IP levels, and even worse is happening through the accounts where they are using hook and crook methods to get opposing editors blocked."[20]
 • DarSahab: "If two IPs in two different cities, Bangalore and Delhi, were in coordination with the same purpose its likely there's a deeper collaboration which we need to uncover and this new Bangalore IP is part of it. We know that the Bangalore IP has admitted by their word ″we″ to being not alone. The recent Bangalore IP is likely one or more of them."[21]
 • DarSahab: "I feel there is collaboration going on..."[22]
 • Both are obsessed with removing "kshatriya" [23][24], and both claims that "Brahmins" and "sheikh" are "converts"[25][26]
 • Both shares the same obsession with obscure Kashmiri tribes related articles[27][28][29]
 • Same style of formatting references:
 • DarSahab:

Comments by other users

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

I assume from the usernames shown (DarSahab) and (Fahaddar) that these users are Dars, members of a major Kashmiri tribe. Which explains the overlaps in their interests in editing articles about Kashmiri tribes and their Kashmiri ethnicity. That two editors from the same Dar family are editing similar articles in a topic area about their ethnicity in a similar fashion is hardly out of the ordinary. It calls for no suspicions.
I also do not see anything in the way of evidence here. There are major differences in KA$HMIR and DarSahab's editing style. The former's edits are more bulkier and better referenced. I have expanded my own readings and knowledge from the sources KA$HMIR gives. KA$HMIR's edits are mostly in political topics. Darsahab's edits reveal a more anthropological interest. Most of the edit summaries are dissimilar. Any possible similarity can be easily traced to the similar upbringing and education of family members.
What's more I don't see them editing together on the same articles or getting into edit wars with other users together. Any edits KA$HMIR may have made on articles where DarSahab is now present are older than the DarSahab account itself. KA$HMIR and DarSahab also have different activeness. KA$HMIR has been very inactive in the past month, but not DarSahab. KA$HMIR also said in his last few contributions that he has been extremely busy. But DarSahab has been editing in February. If they are the same user why doesn't KA$HMIR return now to Talk:Kashmir conflict (where his proposed text has got WP:CONSENSUS of the deeply involved editors) to explain further his text to the user who is WP:STONEWALLING in a case of WP:1AM? DarSahab just made edits in the past day. Where is KA$HMIR when DarSahab is active?
If KA$HMIR was editing from the KA$HMIR account for privacy reasons, as stated on their talkpage, then telling us about their other account Fahaddar (Fahad is a common Muslim name) is WP:OUTING. WP:OUTING editors is WP:HARASSMENT. I am interested in the filer's motive in filing this and would call for a WP:BOOMERANG.--NadirAli نادر علی (talk) 03:38, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment only on case in place of derailing the SPI. Stop throwing false allegations since you have zero evidence. You tried to disrupt ANI as well and Darsahab was only editor who supported your problematic comment there. Are you all related? Or you have some charitable excuse for obsessively supporting these new socks? — MapSGV (talk) 03:54, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
To editor MapSGV:, I do not recall interacting with you. Have I seen you before? I took a read of this.[45]. I will have to ask the admins now, as part of WP:BOOMERANG, to take a read of this unbothered-with SPI case[46] and investigate the links between the users with a beef against KA$HMIR here and the IP hoppers who were harassing KA$HMIR and Owais with false allegations of sockpuppetry. You also show considerable interest in this SPI for somebody who's made barely 200 edits (most of them in the same topic area as the filer and the one being investigated) in a span of years.--NadirAli نادر علی (talk) 05:10, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments

 •  Clerk declined - The users have already disclosed they are family. CheckUser would accomplish nothing. Sro23 (talk) 05:10, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
