It's rather sad to see the Signpost uncritically grouping the Unherd claim of a UN lead conspiracy to create disinformation on Wikipedia along a real, evidenced piece of disinformation found on the projects. The piece makes exagerated claims of conspiracy and repression of perspectives, while also citing [https://unherd.com/2023/07/climate-hysteria-has-no-class/ widely debunked and poorly researched disinformation] itself. Some further reading/discussion on this piece from UnHerd (and UnHerd as a source in general) is available here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard#UnHerd . Interesting how the misinformation which one person or blog post started spreads around to other blog posts and gets repeated by other newsletters. Uncritical coverage of the Unherd piece on climate?
It's rather sad to see the Signpost uncritically grouping the Unherd claim of a UN lead conspiracy to create disinformation on Wikipedia along a real, evidenced piece of disinformation found on the projects. The piece makes exagerated claims of conspiracy and repression of perspectives, while also citing widely debunked and poorly researched disinformation itself. If the Signpost is going to run these kinds of claims, at least provide some basic qualitative review of how well-grounded the claims are.Sadads (talk) 21:56, 1 August 2023 (UTC)

Some further reading/discussion on this piece from UnHerd (and UnHerd as a source in general) is available here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard#UnHerd .
