William B. Travis Academy/Vanguard for the Academically Talented and Gifted is a primary and secondary school in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas (USA).

The school is operated by the Dallas Independent School District and is designed for academically talented and gifted students in grades 4 through 8.

The school opened in 2000.[1]

School uniform

Travis has a mandatory school uniform, as the entire DISD has this policy for students in grades 4 through 8.

Students may wear white or black polo, oxford, or turtleneck shirts.

Students may wear black, blue, or khaki trousers, shorts, or skirts.
