Šanac (Template:Lang-sr) is a village in the municipality of Kruševac, located along the left bank of the river Zapadna Morava. A typical village of Serbian Pomoravlje (areas in the valleys of Morava rivers: Zapadna, Južna and Velika Morava), mostly stretched along the main road, expanding into the valley and, in some places, into the hill above.

Although an agricultural area, the population is mostly employed in Kruševac, a nearby city, while only a relatively small number of inhabitants, mostly old generation, works strictly as farmers. However, most of those employed in the city still work part-time on farming the land they own.
