The 1204th Aviation Support Battalion (ASB) is a unit in the Kentucky Army National Guard that inactivated January 10, 2016.[1] The unit deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn (Iraq, 2010–2011) on October 1, 2011.[2]

Service in Iraq

The unit earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation for service in support of military operations from 23 August 2011 to 10 August 2012 during the unit's deployment in Iraq in support of Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom.[3]
