The 1970 Championship of Australia was an Australian rules football match that took place on 3 October 1970.

The championship was contested by the premiers of the VFL and the premiers of the SANFL.

The match was played in Adelaide, South Australia.

The match, played in front of 37,785, was won by Carlton by a margin of 45 points, giving Carlton its 2nd Championship of Australia Title.[1]
