The Irish Cup 2009–10 is the cup's 130th edition since its introduction and the 88th time that the trophy was presented to the winners of the annual knock-out competition in Northern Ireland. The competition began on 19 September 2009 with the First Round and ended on 8 May 2010 with the Final.

Linfield were the eventual winners, winning 2–1 against Portadown in the final.[1]

Portadown earned a place in the second qualifying round of the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League because winners Linfield had already qualified for the UEFA Champions League via the IFA Premiership.
