They were led by fourth-year head coach Jamey Chadwell and played their home games at Buccaneer Field . They were a member of the Big South Conference . They finished the season 7–4, 4–1 in Big South play to share the conference championship with Liberty . They received the Big South's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs where they lost to Wofford in the first round.
