The 2016 Egypt Cup (also known as Obour Land Egypt Cup for sponsorship reasons)^[1] is the 84th season of the Egypt Cup since its establishment in 1921. The winners will assure a place in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup.

Zamalek are the defending champions, having defeated their rivals Al Ahly in the previous final.
