The league consists of 20 clubs.

The following eight clubs left the league before the season -

• Anstey Nomads - transferred to United Counties League
• Aylestone Park - transferred to United Counties League
• Birstall United - transferred to United Counties League
• Dunkirk - promoted to Midland League Premier Division
• Holbrook Sports - resigned before the season started, joining the Central Midlands League South Division
• Holwell Sports - transferred to United Counties League
• Radcliffe Olympic - relegated to Nottinghamshire Senior League
• Stapenhill - transferred to Midland League

The following seven clubs joined the league -

• Clipstone - relegated from Northern Counties East League Premier Division
• Eastwood Community - promoted from Central Midlands League South Division
• Heanor Town - relegated from Midland League Premier Division
• Ingles - promoted from Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division
• Newark Flowserve - promoted from Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division
• Rainworth Miners Welfare - relegated from Northern Counties East League Premier Division
