2019 Cure Bowl

The 2019 Cure Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 21, 2019, in Orlando, Florida, with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EST on CBS Sports Network.[2] It will be the fifth edition of the Cure Bowl, and will be one of the 2019–20 bowl games concluding the 2019 FBS football season. This will be the first Cure Bowl played at Exploria Stadium, as all prior editions were held at nearby Camping World Stadium.[3] With FBC Mortgage as the title sponsor, the game is officially known as the FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl.[4]

Teams

The game will be played between the Liberty Flames and the Georgia Southern Eagles.

Liberty Flames

This will be Liberty's first bowl game since joining the FBS, which they have accomplished in their first season of being eligible to qualify for a bowl game.

Georgia Southern Eagles

This will be Georgia Southern's third bowl game; the Eagles have an undefeated record of 2–0 in prior bowls. Most recently, their 2018 team won the 2018 Camellia Bowl over Eastern Michigan, 23–21.
