On September 28, 2022, the IRGC conducted drone bombings and missile attacks against Iranian-Kurdish bases in Koya, Northern Iraq,[1] resulting in at least thirteen deaths, including women (one of them pregnant) and children, and 58 injuries.[2]
The attack was a response to the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan voicing support for the Mahsa Amini protests.
