2024 alleged Paris blackout

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2024 alleged Paris blackout is an event that supposedly took place in Paris, France, a few hours after the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony at the European city on 27 July 2024.[1] Allegations suggest that most of the city lost its electrical power shortly after the events.

Reactions

[edit]

The alleged event caused an array of different reactions across the internet. Many Christian websites reacted by calling the games "doomed"[2] or "debauched",[3][4] while at least one Christian You Tube channel called them "Demonic".[5]

Reuters

[edit]

Reuters, an international news group, disclosed on their website that a photo showing the Eiffel Tower in darkness, which had been used by some internet sites to prove the event did take place, was from March 2021 and not from the day the Olympics began.[6]

Church

[edit]

The Sacré-Cœur Catholic church was allegedly the only place that did not lose electrical power, according to some Christians and Christian websites.[7][8]
