3D Brick Breaker Revolution is a game for iOS and Windows Phone 7 developed by Digital Chocolate and released March 27, 2009 (for iOS).[1][2][3] The game was ported to Windows Phone 7 and released on December 1, 2010 for $2.99. The Windows Phone 7 version offers Leaderboard and Achievement support as a title for Xbox LIVE enabled games. This game is also available in a free lite version with fewer levels and weapons.[1]
Other versions
Many other versions of the game have been created for iOS. 3D Brick Breaker Revolution 2 was released January 29, 2010 with paid and free versions for iPhone.[citation needed] On August 20, 2010, a paid HD version for iPad was released, followed by a free version on October 14.[citation needed] Also, Monster 3D Brick Breaker Revolution was released for iPad on October 29, followed by free and paid iPhone versions on November 6 and November 8 respectively.[citation needed] Monster 3D Brick Breaker Revolution does not have a free HD (iPad) version.
Most of the games have not been updated recently, except for 3D Brick Breaker Revolution FREE for iPhone. Version 1.1.18 added Game Center support, time attack mode, new power-ups, new graphics, game expansion packs, and more.[4]
Gameplay
Brick Breaker Revolution 3D is an Arkanoid style game where players destroy bricks and boss battles using weapons and a ball.[5] The game features 24 power-ups that are collected as they drop down the screen during levels. They can be selected for a one time use until another is collected and include, but are not limited to, Jump, Vision Twist, Laser, Cannons, Nuke, and Unstoppable.
There are three game modes: classic mode, revolution mode, and time attack.
