The 6th Medical Logistics Management Center (6MLMC), a direct reporting unit of U.S. Army Forces Command FORSCOM at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with administrative control and training readiness authority to the Medical Research and Material Command USAMRMC Fort Detrick, Maryland serves as the Army's only deployable medical materiel management center world-wide.

Mission

Provide strategically networked and centrally managed Joint Combat Health Logistics information services supporting multiple Theater-level Full Spectrum operations.

  • Authoritative technical management of Class VIII and medical maintenance within the area of operations (AO)
  • Link operational level logistics to strategic level logistics
  • Link Class VIII management with the AO distribution system
  • Provide information management functions of single integrated medical logistics management (SIMLM)
  • Operate in a split-based mode: CONUS base; teams of logistics experts deploy into the AO
