The 7th Assault Aviation Corps (7 ShAK) was an aviation corps of the Red Air Forcethat fought in World War II.

Names

History

The 7th Assault Aviation Corps was formed on 21 July 1943 from the 10th Mixed Aviation Corps.[1] It received the Sevastopol honorific for its support of the Crimean Offensive. The corps was renumbered as the 68th Assault Aviation Corps on 10 January 1949.[2]
