Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research (abbreviated AIACTR or AIT Delhi) was a public engineering college located in Geeta Colony, Delhi. Now it is merged with Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and has become the east campus of NSUT (previously it was affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University).[1][2]

History

The institute took possession of an area of 8.5 acres (34,000 m2) in Geeta Colony in 2005. It started operating from the campus in 2008.[3]

Programmes

Undergraduate (BTech)

AIACTR offered bachelor's degree in two areas:[4]

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Postgraduate (MTech)

AIACTR offered master's degree in the following areas:[5]

  • Digital Communication (DC)
  • Information Security (IS)
  • RF and Microwave Engineering (RFM)
  • Signal Processing (SP)
