Heavy Sounds is an album by American jazz drummer Elvin Jones and bassist Richard Davis recorded in 1967 and released on the Impulse! label.[1]

Reception

The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow stated: "The music is essentially advanced hard bop but is not all that essential."[2]
