American college football season
The 1908 Penn Quakers football team represented the University of Pennsylvania in the 1908 college football season . The team finished with an 11–0–1 record and was retroactively named as the national champion by the Helms Athletic Foundation , Houlgate System , and Parke H. Davis , and as a co-national champion by the National Championship Foundation .[1] They outscored their opponents 215 to 28.[2]
