Mehreen Mahmud mostly known by her stage name Mehreen, is a Bangladeshi singer.

Career

Mehreen was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She sings Bangla jazz-fusion-pop.[1]

Mehreen's debut album Anari was released in 2000. In 2012 she was judge in the Bangladeshi Idol.[citation needed]

She profusely sang a song, titled Cup Kintu Ektai. .[1][2]

She completed her masters in English literature from the University of Dhaka. This information is not verified. [citation needed]

She worked as an MC for the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in 1992–2004, and as a newscaster on BTV and national radio, Bangladesh Betar from 1992 to 2000.

Concerts

Mehreen performed on 6th Citycell Channel I Music Award at Lalbagh Fort on 3 December 2010 along with many other Bangladeshi artists.[4]
