A Wife's Heart (妻の心, Tsuma no kokoro) is a 1956 Japanese drama film directed by Mikio Naruse.[3]

Plot

Kiyoko (Hideko Takamine), along with her husband Shinji (Keiju Kobayashi), wants to open a coffee shop, and asks bank clerk Kenkichi (Toshiro Mifune) for a loan. When financial and emotional troubles mount within her household, Kiyoko falls for the handsome Kenkichi.
