Youssouf Fofana (born 10 January 1999) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Monaco in the Ligue 1.
Club career
Fofana began his footballing career with various youth academies in Paris, before joining the youth academy of RC Strasbourg Alsace on 21 February 2018.[1] He made his professional debut with Strasbourg in a 2–0 Ligue 1 loss to Olympique Lyonnais on 24 August 2018.[2] He made his debut for AS Monaco against Metz and was shown red card after 46 minutes. [3]
International career
Born in France, Fofana is of Malian descent.[4] Fofana is a youth international for the France U19s.[5]
