Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Modarresi-Yazdi

Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Modarresi-Yazdi (born 1955 in Yazd)[1] is one of the 12 members of the Guardian Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran.[2]

In February 2020, the United States Department of the Treasury said it sanctioned Ahmad Jannati, Abbas Ali Kadkhodaei, Siamak Rahpeyk, Mohammad Hasan Sadeghi Moghadam and Mohammad Yazdi.[3] The sanctions make it illegal for Americans from doing business with Yazdi.[4]
