WJKP-LD, virtual and UHF digital channel 39, is a low-powered, MyNetworkTV-affiliated television station licensed to Corning, New York, United States, serving the Western Twin Tiers of Southern Upstate New York (including Elmira) and Northern Pennsylvania. Owned by Vision Communications, WJKP-LD is sister to Fox affiliate WYDC (channel 48). The two stations share studios on East Market Street in Downtown Corning; WJKP-LD's transmitter is located on Higman Hill. On cable, the station is available on Spectrum channel 50 in Corning and channel 44 in Elmira in standard definition only.
In addition to its own low-powered digital signal, WJKP-LD also receives full-market over-the-air coverage on WYDC's second digital subchannel (although again only in standard definition). This airs on virtual and UHF channel 48.2 from the same Higman Hill transmitter.
Programming
Syndicated programming on WJKP-LD includes The Jerry Springer Show, The Wendy Williams Show, The People's Court, and TMZ among others.
