Lukko Naiset or Rauman Lukko Naiset ('Rauma's Lock Women') are an ice hockey team in the Naisten Liiga. They play in Rauma, a port city on the southwestern coast of Finland, at the Kivikylän Areena. Founded in 2011, the team played in the Naisten Mestis and Naisten Suomi-sarja, the second- and third-tier women's leagues in Finland, until gaining promotion to the Naisten Liiga for the 2016–17 season.[1]
History
Lukko Naiset are the representative women's ice hockey team of the ice hockey and ringette club Rauman Lukko ry, which also operates a number of junior and recreational teams. They have limited affiliation with Rauman Lukko Oy, which operates the men's Liiga team Lukko.
The team has faced relegation three times in their four seasons in the Naisten Liiga but have saved themselves in the qualifiers each time. As of the conclusion of the 2019–20 Naisten Liiga season, Lukko has not appeared in the Naisten Liiga playoffs.[2]
