Alessandro Milesi (born December 21, 1999) is a Peruvian-Italian professional soccer player currently playing as a defender/midfielder for Sliema based Sliema Wanderers F.C. in the Maltese Premier League.
Career
Alessandro was born in Lima (Peru) from Italian parents and has lived most of his life in the US.
Consequently, he holds Peruvian, Italian and American nationality.
He spent two years with the U-19 of Brescia Calcio (Italy) and previously with other youth teams in Peru and USA.
During the ’18/’19 season Milesi has been incorporated into training permanently with Brescia Serie B Team, playing in various friendlies and being called up for 2 consecutive Serie B matches against Benevento and Cremonese.
In February 2019 he was loaned to Sicula Leonzio in Serie C, making two appearances against Vibonese and Casertana.
In September 2019 he signed a 3 months contract for Miami FC in the newly formed National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) where he played and trained regularly until mid 2020.
In July 2020 he signed a one year contract with Sliema Wanderers F.C. in the Maltese Premier League in Malta.
International career
Alessandro Milesi has been part of the Peru U-20 soccer team, with which he participated in the 2019 U-20 South American Soccer Championship.
He has also been part of the U-15 Peruvian National Team with which he won the gold medal in the Men's Olympic Youth Soccer at the 2014 Nanking Youth Olympic Games.
With the U-20 Milesi was part of the “sparring” team that flew to Russia with the Peruvian National Senior Team in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Previously, when playing in US, in January 2016 Milesi was called up for a U-18 US Men National Team camp held in Florida.
