Oğuzhan Koç (born 13 May 1985) is a Turkish actor, singer-songwriter, composer, screenwriter and host.

Life and career

Koç was born on 13 May 1985 in Refahiye, Erzincan. He studied at the Bursa State Conservatory's Music Department for high school and secondary school. He simultaneously started to study in the "Anthropology Department of Istanbul University" and "distance education in Business Department of Anadolu University instead of Labour Economy Department of Dokuz Eylül University".

Koç, who has been interested in performing arts from a young age, joined the BKM Theatre in 2005. He and BKM actors wrote as screenwriter and performed as actor in Kanal D's theatrical comedy Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar, which awarded at 36th Golden Butterfly Best Comedy Award. He wrote and composed the hit song "Gül ki Sevgilim" which was performed by Oğuzhan Koç and later Ferhat Göçer. He similarly gave the hit song "Giden Günlerim Oldu" to Gülben Ergen for her album Uzun Yol Şarkıları. The song was recorded as a duet and he later appeared in its music video. He received great acclaim for his songs "Uzun Hava (Oscar)", "Domuz Gribi Ol İnşallah", "Unutulmaz ki Gözlerin", "O Benim Arkadaşım", "Uzun Hava (Kanka)", "Bilmiyorum", "Yatırbank", "Yapma Gülsüm", "Aduket" and other musical performances which composed by Oğuzhan Koç, which was published in Kanal D's theatrical comedy called Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar. In 2009, he took a role in the movie Neşeli Hayat directed by Yılmaz Erdoğan. In 2010, he starred in the movie titled Çok Filim Hareketler Bunlar, which was written and directed by BKM actors. He was also awarded the "Best Soundtrack" award at the 17th Kral Music Awards for composing the film's music, songs "El Alem Ne Der", "Uçanları Vurmasınlar". He write and composed songs "Sebepsiz Aşk" and "Dudaklar Kavuşsun" which realesed unofficial.

Oğuzhan Koç, Eser Yenenler, İbrahim Büyükak presented talk show 3 Adam in 2013-2017. Koç's first album Ben Hala Rüyada whıch was released on 2 December 2013 by Esen Müzik. The album which the lyrics and musics of which belong to himself, awarded at Golden Butterly Award and Turkey Music Award. In April 2015, He wrote and composed his new duet with Gülben Ergen, titled "Aşkla Aynı Değil", was released as a single. In 2014, he wrote and composed the song "Bu Nasıl Aşk" for Murat Dalkılıç's new album Daha Derine. At the same time, he prepared the song "Berhudar Olmak Zor" that was used on the soundtrack of İbrahim Büyükak's movie Küçük Esnaf. Oğuzhan Koç's duet with Beyazıt Öztürk, titled homuor song "Kuma Yapıyor" was released in Beyaz Show. Oğuzhan Koç's duet with İbrahim Büyükak, titled homuor rap song "İkimizinde Psikolojisini Sen Bozdun" was performed in Yetenek Sizsiniz.

He then had a leading role in the movie "Yol Arkadaşım" and "Yol Arkadaşım 2" as Onur Güzel, which was written by İbrahim Büyükak. He performed Turkish dubbing of musical theatre "Pinokyo" with Gülben Ergen, Eser Yenenler. He joined the second season of TV8's music contest O Ses Çocuklar (Turkish version of The Voice Kids) as a judge and his contestant finished in the first place at the end of the season. He was then cast as a voice actor in the animated sitcom Fırıldak Ailesi, voicing a single character together with Eser Yenenler and İbrahim Büyükak. He became one of the voice actors chosen for the animated movie Doru.

He performed sometimes as musician, sometimes as comedian, numerous famous songs like "Dönülmez Akşamın Ufkundayız", "Aşk(Sertap Erener)", "Sorma (Sezen Aksu)", "Hüma Kuşu", "Uyan", "Emmoğlu", "Yemen Türküsü", "Ya Evde Yoksan", "Vermem Seni Ellere", "Kara Çadır", "Merkez Patlıyor Herkes", "Sorma Neden" in "3 Adam", "Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar", "Yol Arkadaşım".

In 2016, he collaborated on Murat Boz's new album Janti, by giving him the song "Yüzüm Yok" and then acoustic version was performed on Oğuzhan Koç's Ev album. On 7 October 2016, he released the single "Bulutlara Esir Olduk", which the lyrics and music of which belong to himself, followed by a music video on 17 October. In April 2017, Koç released the single "Küsme Aşka", the lyrics and music of which belong to himself. The song was arranged by Ozan Çolakoğlu and its music video was directed by Bedran Güzel, featuring appearances by Sinan Tuzcu, İrem Sak, Şahin Irmak, Begüm Birgören, Eren Hacısalihoğlu, Serkan Şenalp, Alina Boz and Dilşad Şimşek. He released singles which the lyrics and music of which belong to himself, "Aşinayız" (duet with Murat Dalkılıç), "Beni İyi Sanıyorlar", "Takdir-i İlahi", "Sükut-u Hayal".He and 39 singers performed 1994 the song "Çat Kapı" on Yıldız Tilbe's cover album "Yıldız Tilbe'nin Yıldızlı Şarkıları".

In 2020, he released new albüm "Ev" which he wrote and composed 5 new song and his 11 songs' acoustic versions. He wrote and composed the song "Her Mevsim Yazım" which was performed by Zeynep Bastık. He later released singles "Kendime Sardım", "Heyecandan", "Küskün", "Hepsi Geçiyor".He and Çağrı Telkıvıran wrote and composed the songs "Bir Daha" which was performed by Zeynep Bastık, "Kimse Sormasın" which will perform by Hera, a song which will perform in March by Bengü, "Olur Mu" which only lyrics by Çağrı Telkıvıran and Oğuzhan Koç. He also shared homour rap song "Benim Adım Oğuzhan" in Instagram and composed for 3 minutes, which humour song "Saçlar Nerden Link Atsana" about Enis Arıkan in Enis Arıkan Show.
