Shaadi Mubarak (transl. Congrats on the marriage) is an Indian drama television series produced under Shashi Sumeet Productions.[1] It premiered on 24 August 2020 on Star Plus.[2] It stars Manav Gohil and Rati Pandey.[3]

Plot

Tarun, Preeti's son, and his wife Rati believe Preeti is nothing more than a mere servant and throws her out of the house. Preeti then wishes to earn self-respect by working as a Wedding Planner.

On the other side, Keertan, who looks happy on the surface, is hiding a deep wound within. When Chanda Rathore, a prospective bride for Keertan, insults him because he rejected her, Keertan's uncle Sushant motivates him to work.

Keertan offers a business partnership to Preeti, which she initially denies. Later, she agrees when he takes a stand for her before a wretched client. Preeti and Keertan face many issues in the initial days of their business, but as a result, Preeti and Keertan develop a bond of friendship, trust & respect.

Tarun puts forth a challenge before Preeti where, in 25 days, she will have to prove herself capable of becoming a businesswoman, and if she fails, she will have to come back and look after his house. With the help of Keertan, she wins.

Preeti and Keertan get an offer to organize a pre-committed event with a mysterious client. On the day of the wedding, the client turns out to be Nandini. To get his revenge, Keertan marries Preeti. Though Preeti knows their relationship is only respect for each other.

After their marriage, Preeti and Keertan work in cahoots to determine Nandini's motive and expose her before the family, especially before Arjun. They spend some happy moments amidst all the chaos. Nandini finds out about this and decides to take her revenge from 17 years back.

On the day of Makar Sankranti, Nandini discloses that Arjun is adopted, forcing Keertan to commit suicide, but he gets saved by Preeti. Nandini gets arrested but vows to return and get her revenge.

Preeti is shocked when she finds out that Keertan pretended to be in love with her, and when Kusum breaks all ties with her after witnessing Neel and Shika’s engagement.

Keertan feels guilty for breaking Preeti’s heart so he tries to fix things between her and Kusum. Later Preeti decides to divorce Keertan.
