Noah Timothy Verhoeven (born June 15, 1999) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for York United.

Club career

Whitecaps FC 2

Verhoeven played with United Soccer League side Whitecaps FC 2 while part of the Whitecaps Academy.[1] He made his professional debut on October 7, 2017 in a 1–1 draw against Real Monarchs SLC, coming on as a substitute in the 74th minute.[2]

Fresno FC

On March 8, 2018, Verhoeven signed for Fresno FC.[2]

Pacific FC

He signed with Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League on January 21, 2019.[3]

York United

On 4 February 2021, Verhoeven signed a two-year contract with York United.[4]

International career

Eligible to represent Canada, the Netherlands and the United States, Verhoeven was previously called in to the United States U18 squad.[5] In May 2018, Verhoeven was named to Canada's squad for the 2018 Toulon Tournament.[6] He scored a goal against Turkey during the tournament.[7] In October 2018, Verhoeven was named to the U20 side for the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.[8] Verhoeven was named to the Canadian U-23 provisional roster for the 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship on February 26, 2020.[9]
