Pseudalcantarea macropetala, synonym Tillandsia macropetala, is a species of flowering plant in the family Bromeliaceae, native to central and southern Mexico.[1] It was first described by Heinrich Wawra von Fernsee in 1887 as Platystachys viridiflora.[2]
