"We Came to Dance" is the final single from Ultravox's sixth studio album Quartet (the third studio album recorded with singer Midge Ure), recorded in Air Studios and released on Chrysalis Records on 23rd May 1983 (incorrectly listed as 18th April in many places when the previous single was still in the UK charts). The single reached #18 on the UK charts on 18 June.[1][2][3] This was the last of seven consecutive top-20 singles for the band.[4]
