Rudasht District (Template:Lang-fa), formerly Talayeh District,[3] is in Lordegan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sardasht. [4]
At the census of 2006, the region's population (as Sardasht Rural District of the Central District) was 14,848 in 2,963 households.[5] There were 14,846 inhabitants in 2,963 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the latest National Census in 2016, there were 16,762 inhabitants living in 3,678 households, by which time the rural district had been elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts.[2]
