Platysace filiformis is a perennial flowering plant in the family Apiaceae which is endemic to south-west region of Western Australia.[1][2]

Description

It is an erect or sprawling shrub, which grows to 0.1–0.6 m (3.9 in – 1 ft 11.6 in) high. It has white or cream flowers, which flower in summer/autumn (November to February). The leaf compoundness is simple and has an arbuscular mycorrhizal root structure.[3]

Habitat

P. filiformis grows in masses in semi-shade under the sheoak trees, Allocasuarina fraseriana, and among jarrah trees, Eucalyptus marginata. It is generally found in lateritic gravelly soils (often moist areas).[4]
