2024 Southland tournament winner

The 2023–24 Lamar Lady Cardinals basketball team will represent Lamar University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Cardinals, led by fifth year head coach Aqua Franklin, play their home games at the Montagne Center in Beaumont, Texas as members of the Southland Conference.

The Southland Conference released its preseason poll on October 10, 2023. Receiving 132 overall votes and 2 first place votes, the Lady Cardinals were picked to finish third in the conference.[1][2]
