Oslo Beach is a small coastal suburb located along the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and forms part of the coastal town of Port Shepstone.

Geography

Oslo Beach lies just 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of the Port Shepstone central business district (CBD) and lies nestled between Port Shepstone to the north and Shelly Beach to the north.

Facilities

Oslo Beach is host to two schools, Creston College [2] and Suid-Natal Primere Skool[3] which is an Afrikaans school. Most schools in the Lower South Coast are in Port Shepstone and Margate.[4][5]

Oslo Beach is largely a residential area with no retail facilities present. However, the nearest malls to Oslo Beach are in close proximity, either in the Port Shepstone CBD or Shelly Beach.[6]

In terms of medical facilities, the nearest hospitals are in the Port Shepstone CBD including the Port Shepstone Regional Hospital and Hibiscus Hospital Port Shepstone.[7]

Roads

Oslo Beach is located along Marine Drive, designated as the R620, leading southwards from the intersection with the R102 (to Marburg and the Port Shepstone CBD) colloquially known as “Confusion Junction” to Shelly Beach, Margate and Southbroom.
