Mal-e Khalifeh (Persian: مال خليفه, also Romanized as Māl-e Khalīfeh and Māl Khalīfeh; also known as Deh-e Khalīfeh and Deh Khalīfa)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, the Central District of Falard County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran, and also serves as capital of the county.[4] The city is populated by Lurs.[5] The city is populated by Lurs.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,962 in 658 households, when it was in the former Falard District of Lordegan County.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 3,698 people in 857 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,024 people in 1,228 households.[2]

In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Falard County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Mal-e Khalifeh as its capital and only city.[4]
