Tankaman-e Shomali Rural District (Template:Lang-fa) is in Tankaman District of Nazarabad County, Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Bakhtiar.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, Tankaman District was in Tehran province.[4] In August 2010, Karaj County, Nazarabad County, and Savojbolagh County were separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province.[5]
At the most recent census of 2016, Tankaman-e Shomali Rural District had a population of 10,790 people in 3,302 households. The largest of its 15 villages was Bakhtiar, with 3,520 people.[2]
