Smaran (aka Smaran Sai) is an Indian music composer who works in Telugu cinema. He made his debut with Ajay Bhupathi's RX 100 in 2018 and worked on Krish's Masti's and Anvesh Michael's Kotha Poradu[1] that released on aha in the year 2020.
Early life and career
Smaran Sai was born and raised in Barkatpura, Hyderabad. In his initial years he used to perform at Coco's Jubilee Hills. and was an associate of Vivek Sagar collaborating on multiple Avanti Cinema projects with Rohit and Sasi.
In 2019, Smaran officially registered his Studio-cum-record label as Wolfgang Studios, Barkatpura, naming his studio after his favorite, Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
One of his notable contributions includes the composition of background scores for the critically acclaimed film RX 100 (2018). Smaran gained recognition with his work on the TV series Kotha Poradu. Regarding his work in Matti Katha, a critic wrote that "Music composer Smaran Sai did a great job with the songs. Particularly, the one sung by Kanakavva’s character is superb. The background score is also impressive".[2]
Smaran ventured into the realm of television, contributing to the TV mini-series Masti's and the anthology series Pitta Kathalu.[3]
