Ettersburg (also, Etter[1]) is a locality[1] in Humboldt County, California. It is located 12.5 miles (20 km) west-northwest of Phillipsville,[1] at an elevation of 676 feet (206 m).[2]

A post office operated at Ettersburg from 1902 to 1906 and from 1915 to 1965.[1] The name comes from the ancestral home of homesteader Albert F. Etter.[1]
