Kanganpur (Template:Lang-ur), is a city in Kasur District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] It is part of Chunian Tehsil and is located at 30°46'0N 74°7'60E with an altitude of 177 metres (583 feet).[2]
Location
It is about 64 kilometres (40 mi) away from Kasur, 42 kilometres (26 mi) away from world-famous forest Changa Manga, and 115 kilometres (71 mi) away from Lahore the capital of Punjab Province.
It is frontier town adjoining with Indian city Firozpur from east and Okara from west.
In 2015, town committee Kanganpur was upgraded to municipal corporation Kanganpur. Kanganpur has total 11 electoral wards for municipal corporation committee.
