Aphanius splendens, the Gölçük toothcarp or splendid killifish, is an extinct species of freshwater fish in the family Cyprinodontidae. It was[when?] endemic to Lake Gölçük in Turkey. It became extinct due to the effects of fish introduced to the lake.
