Hedinichthys is a subgenus of the stone loach genus Triplophysa endemic to China. It is regarded by some authorities as a valid genus in its own right.[1]
Species
There are currently four recognized species in this subgenus:[2]
- Triplophysa (Hedinichthys) grummorum Prokofiev, 2010
- Triplophysa (Hedinichthys) macropterus (Herzenstein, 1888)
- Triplophysa (Hedinichthys) minutus (Li, 1966)
- Triplophysa (Hedinichthys) yarkandensis (F. Day, 1877) (Kashgarian loach)
