"Alone in This World" is a song by American recording artist Faith Evans. It was written by Sean Combs, Mechalie Jamison, Michael Carlos Jones, Jack Knight, Herbert Magidson, Nashiem Myrick, Christopher Wallace, Mario Winans, Allie Wrubel and Evans for her third studio album Faithfully (2001). Produced by Combs, it samples 1995's "Who Shot Ya?" performed by The Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy. The ballad was released as the album's fifth and final single in 2002 and reached number 73 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
