Balaband Rural District (Persian: دهستان بالابند) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,501, in 1,909 families.[1] The rural district has 41 villages.
