The Central District of Chaldoran County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان چالدران) is a district (bakhsh) in Chaldoran County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 35,503, in 7,121 families.[1] The District has one city: Siah Cheshmeh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Baba Jik Rural District, Chaldoran-e Jonubi Rural District, and Chaldoran-e Shomali Rural District.
