Leylan District (Persian: بخش لیلان) is a district (bakhsh) in Malekan County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 23,234, in 5,341 families.[1] The District has one city: Leylan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Leylan-e Jonubi Rural District and Leylan-e Shomali Rural District.
