Lyssa zampa, the tropical swallowtail moth or Laos brown butterfly,[1] is a species of moth of the family Uraniidae. The species was first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1869. It can be found from the Himalayas to Borneo and the Malay Peninsula.
The moth has a wingspan of 10–16 cm (3.9–6.3 in). It is most abundant from June to November depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Endospermum and other members of the rubber tree family (Euphorbiaceae).
It is usually attracted to bright lights in urban areas.[1]
