Hou Yaowen (Chinese: 侯耀文; pinyin: Hóu Yàowén; July 17, 1948 – June 23, 2007), or Hou Yuewen (Chinese: 侯跃文), was a Chinese xiangsheng actor.
Biography
Hou Yaowen was born in 1948, as the third son of Hou Baolin.[1] He became a xiangsheng actor in 1960. He was selected as one of the Chinese Top Ten Comedian Stars in 1994.[2]
Hou died of heart attack at his home on June 23, 2007, aged 59.[3]
Guo Degang is Hou's disciple.
