Grant Connell and Patrick Galbraith were the defending champions but only Connell competed that year with Byron Black.

Black and Connell lost in the semifinals to Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.

Woodbridge and Woodforde won in the final 6–4, 5–7, 6–2, 7–6(7–3) against Sébastien Lareau and Alex O'Brien.
